in a nutshell, the little mermaid is my favorite movie of all time, and since it came out last tues, I've watched it 4 times now.
I drew this while watching the "Making Of.." featurette on disc 2. what can I say? disney inspires me.
i'm actually very proud of this one. it looks really green because I was playing around with colors to try to make her actually *look* like she's underwater instead of just plastered in front of an oceanlike background. it was really fun playing with colors that i really don't ever use.
I'm also proud because I used no reference at all. Just my own head. I love the lil seahorse. he's a cute one!
wacom intuos 3, pen tool, painter essentials 2.
