He had been ranting at her and pushed her back into a dark corner under the stairwell. He was so angry. He didn’t really know why he cared. This was like forbidden fruit to him and he snapped.

He knocked the candle out of her hand, plunging them into darkness and pushed her to the wall grasping her hair in his fingers and kissing her lips hard.

She tasted of champagne and honey. Seamus kissed her hard ignoring her pounding fist against his chest until he needed to breath. He pulled away and she slapped his hard on the face.

“How dare you?”
