So, I haven't been hiding under a rock these past 2 months, i promise!

My tablet is out of commission. :< tragedy! I've tried everything, and it just...died. lol. It's been a good 3 years old gal, and you gave it all you had. My parents have promised me a brand new shiny Intuos 4 (squee!)....but not until the last half of JANUARY. So no colorful art until then, I'm afraid. (I have been sketching a lot, and I got a new printer/scanner for my birthday last month (after 4 years, my old one died!) so I can scan those in XD)

To make matters better, when I had to reformat my hard drive unexpectedly (seriously, my computer worked fine not 12 hours before, then all of a sudden, wouldn't turn on the next day) I lost all of my art programs...Painter X, Photoshop CS2, and my new love, SAI!! D: And when I try to download SAI again, it tells me my trial has run out. so even when I get my new tablet, I don't know what the hell I'm going to do in regards to art programs, lol.

So yeah...eventful 2 months. How have you all been?

So today is the day my electronics have decided to turn against me.

First, my alarm clock didn't go off, so I woke up for work at 8am. My shift starts at 8am. FML.

THEN I come home, power up the old laptop...nothing. An hour later on the phone with Dell, and I have to reformat my hard drive. 100 GB of programs lost because I didn't back them up - the computer worked fine last night. So no more Photoshop CS2 or Painter X. FMLx2

THEN as if my night weren't horrible enough, I plug my tablet in, and the power won't stay on. The blue light flickers like the wire connection is bad. Once again, this worked perfectly fine last night.

I. Freaking. Quit.

I hate Septembers, lol...I'm so freaking busy all day at work (oh the joys of the end of the government fiscal year) that I have no motivation to do anything that I'm supposed to be doing, artwise (like those requests, and boyyy are the backgrounds for the Zutara Project coming along slowly!)

I've been having marathon sessions of Sailor Moon this past few days...forgot how much I freaking loved this show. <3 Speaking of shows I love, I'm so pumped for the Big Bang Theory to start back up. Best half hour of TV, I think. And the best hour? Definitely Glee! It takes me back to high school (show choir/musical nerd here!), which was actually a pretty good time for me. :3

Well...back to the grind for the week. Wish me luck. 16 more days of stress!
